Adding Optimization to a Spreadsheet Model

​Here, we added optimization to our spreadsheet model, chose an appropriate solver for our model, and ran the solver to find an optimal solution.
There are two choices to formulate and solve an optimization problem based on an Excel spreadsheet model:

• Excel Solver
• Analytics Solver Platform

The solution that found for the transportation problem gives the quantities to be shipped from each supplier to each customer and minimizes the total cost while doing so
